An indie film by award winning writer director Zac Forsman, Heart of Now is an original, suspenseful story that of a young woman forced to confront her deepest fears after the devastating loss of her boyfriend. As her life intertwines with her fears, will her personal demons and unresolved pasts forever control her or will she find a path to transcendence.

 Storyline

“Heart of Now” is a profound film about a young woman who is devastated by the sudden loss of her boyfriend. She is whisked across a range of urban, natural and emotional landscapes, confronting the deeper issues at the core of her suffering. In a brief instant at the core of now, she experiences transcendence.

 At it’s core, “Heart of Now” is an exploration of the human condition. It examines the deeper issues that are at the very heart of our suffering, and shows us how to find transcendence in a brief moment at the very heart of now.

Film Cast

The film stars Marion Kerr as Amber and Kelly McCraken as Gabe. Fun Fact: Amber and Gabe were created for this film but can be seen in the previously released film White Knuckles directed by Kevin K. Shah.

Other notable cast members include Dusty Sorg, Jason Lopex and Mary Elise Hayden along with voice over work done by Amie Breedlove.

The casting was done perfectly for the film and Marion Kerr does a great job taking on the role.

Production and Release

The film was written and directed by Zac Forsman. You may be familar with Forsman from his short film I Fu**ing Hate You from 2008. If you enjoyed his short, you have to checkout “Heart of Now” as it is equally impressive.

The original release in the United States on June 11, 2010 with a runtime of 1 hour 30 minutes.

The soundtrack for the film was done by the artist DEKLUN.
